Matt Vickers MP met with Kiera to present her with a signed letter from King Charles III.
Last Friday, Matt met with Kiera, a student at Thornaby Academy, Thornaby, whose coronation card congratulating the King on his ascension to the throne won a local competition out of hundreds of entries from students across Stockton South.
The king's letter thanked Kiera, saying that he and the Queen Consort were 'deeply touched' by her card. The king further thanked all of those who took part in the coronation celebrations.
Matt Vickers MP said:
I am so proud of Kiera for receiving such high praise and admiration from King Charles III.
After meeting Kiera, I can see what an amazing young person she is, who already has huge aspirations for her future at such a young age. Staff at Thornaby Academy could not speak more highly of her and I am in doubt as to why.
I also extend my thanks to all of those who entered the coronation card competition. As hard as it was to choose a representative, I am very appreciative of everyone who submitted their entry.
